ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - There will be no general strike in Croatia because the government will not make a single move which would provoke conflicts with workers, Croatian vice premier Goran Granic told Croatian daily "Jutarnji List" on
Saturday. If employers say that the Labour Act is good, the government will not try to change it, he said. Granic believes the issue is focused on the labour legislation and only then on dismissal wages and dismissal period. He said it was important to reach a level of competition in economy. The government aims at bringing the increase rate to seven percent. Granic stressed the government will persist on dialogue with unionists at a session of the Social and Economic Council on Monday.(hina) it
