JANAF said in a statement on Thursday that the agreement provided
the basis for the opening of a new transport route for Russian oil
exports to the international market, which was a precondition for
the signing of an agreement on support for a project of integration
of Druzba and Adria oil pipelines and the conclusion of individual
contracts between transport companies and oil suppliers.
Members of a project working group said at a meeting in Moscow that
the implementation of the agreement would help JANAF become an
important factor in the export of Russian oil to world markets and
increase its importance and role in the European network of oil
pipelines, the company said.
