Djukanovic said this in talks with the special envoy of the Austrian
Foreign Ministry for the Balkans, Tomas Harting, and the Austrian
Ambassador in Belgrade, Hans Porias.
He reiterated that the Belgrade Agreement was an "optimal solution
in the given moment", and "in the interest of both Montenegro and
Serbia, we well as of the region and their European future".
Djukanovic hopes that the forces in Montenegro whose aim is further
democratisation, economic prosperity, rapprochement to European
associations and complete renewal of Montenegrin statehood would
not only keep together, but also strengthen, Djukanovic's cabinet
said in a statement.
The president said that a three-year period would be used for the
quick adoption of European standards and adjustment to EU systems.
