"The number of young people in those areas has been decreasing, but
this time they are not driven away by Chetniks but by unemployment,"
Kompanovic said.
The ZPH requests that reconstruction be exclusively the
responsibility of the Ministry of Reconstruction, which in the past
two years has accelerated the reconstruction process and which the
ZPH trusts, Kompanovic said.
Kompanovic protested against what he called "the inhumane eviction
of displaced people" from hotels in Opatija and Lovran.
Those people are left without power and water supply, and if such
conduct does not stop, we'll square accounts with all those who are
forcing them out, Kompanovic said.
