BELGRADE, April 12 (Hina) - A law on cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), adopted by the Yugoslav parliament on Thursday afternoon, became effective on Friday. The law, signed by
Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica, was published in the National Gazette on April 11. In line with the final regulation of the law, it becomes effective a day after the announcement in the National Gazette. The Law foresees the extradition of all Yugoslav citizens, as well as foreign citizens in Yugoslavia, indicted by the ICTY before the law came into force. The Law also refers to ICTY secret indictments, which have not yet been announced. (hina) it
