ZAGREB, Feb 27 (Hina) - Serb National Council (SNV) president Milorad Pupovac on Wednesday held talks with the High Commissioner for Minorities of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Rolf Ekeus, on the
adoption of a constitutional law on national minorities in Croatia. Pupovac said he and Ekeus shared concern over the latest postponement of the adoption of the constitutional law on minorities. However, the SNV leader hopes the law will be adopted and believes it must not bring into question Croatia's national interests and relations with neighbouring countries. Ekeus told reporters after the meeting he hoped the procedure of adoption of the said law would be initiated soon, as a commitment Croatia took over in order to become a member of the European family.(hina) rml
