ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - A national programme for the protection of the Adriatic, which is being drawn up by Croatian Waters, will be presented to the government by the end of March. Croatian Waters is currently negotiating a US$100
million World Bank loan to resolve the issue of liquid waste drainage in seaside tourist resorts. Talking to reporters on Monday, Croatian Waters managing director Jaksa Marasovic announced the holding of "Tourism - Water Economy -Sea Protection", a scientific and expert conference which should be held in Opatija on March 22. Experts are expected to offer multidisciplinary solutions for the protection of waters and water supply throughout Croatia, especially in the development of tourism.(hina) ha sb
