ZAGREB, Feb 3 (Hina) - As yet undermined quantity of oil leaked during Saturday night and on Sunday morning from the Croatian Oil Industry refinery in Sisak into the rivers Kupa and Sava, leaving a 15-km long slick, the chief water
inspector Zeljko Makvic said today. The water management authorities have declared the second degree of water pollution. The Croatian Waters members are conducting an investigation into the incident. So far there have been no reports about massive dying of fish. Makvic announced that charges would be pressed against those responsible for the incident.(hina) rml
