Stjepan Mesic said in a lecture held in Jakarta on Friday, with which he ended the official part of his visit to Indonesia. The antiterrorist coalition should be an international association of countries fighting for democracy, freedom, security and peace, and should by no means become an instrument of one power of a small group of countries, Mesic said. "The fight against international terrorism should by no means be about revenge," Mesic stressed, accentuating the importance of removing the causes for terrorism. He added that this meant decreasing the void between developed and underdeveloped countries, removing inequality in international relations and the fight against poverty.(hina) lml sb
