BRIJUNI, Feb 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic has said the public need not be afraid (of a new election) because parliamentary deputies will not rush to support new elections as they are not sure about winning their seats
again. "Therefore you need not worry, those who threatened with an early election did not speak in earnest. No one is prepared for a new election," Mesic said on the northern island of Brijuni when asked if the election of Drazen Budisa as the president of the Social Liberals meant an imminent break-up of the ruling coalition and an early election.
