ZAGREB/BANGKOK, Feb 10 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic arrived in Thailand's capital Bangkok on Sunday, and began his ten-day tour during which he will visit Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. During his three-day stay in
Thailand, Mesic will meet Thai Premier Thaksin Shinawatra, and princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The two countries are expected to sign an agreement on the cancellation of visa regime for diplomatic and official passports. Mesic is expected to hold talks with his hosts on the strengthening of relations between the two countries, particularly economic, and the global struggle against the terrorism. Mesic is accompanied by his wife Milka and his advisors, Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic, and Deputy Foreign Minister Vesna Cvjetkovic Kurelec. The president's delegation also includes economic representatives who should take part in a Thai-Croatian economic forum in Bangkok on Tuesday.(hina) np
