The Croat-Muslim entity's government, which held a session in Mostar
on Tuesday, said it recommended the continuation of negotiations
between 'Elektroprivreda' and 'Aluminij' on a new agreement on
delivery of power to the factory.
According to a Croat member of the federal government, who spoke on
condition of anonymity, 'Elektroprivreda' should continue delivering
125 megawatt of power per hour at the price which 'Aluminij' has so
far paid for it.
Earlier, the German 'Debis' company, which operates as a part of the
German-American DaimlerChrysler concern, agreed with 'Elektroprivreda'
on 27 euros per megawatt-hour.
On Monday, the Office of the High Representative (OHR) to
Bosnia-Herzegovina and the European Commission's Delegation called on
Bosnian authorities to ensure the continuation of production in the
aluminium plant in Mostar.
