Two windows on the building of the Croatian cultural society "Vladimir
Nazor" in Sombor were smashed in the night before election day, the
DSHV said in the statement.
Commenting on the election failure of the "Together for Tolerance"
coalition, which also included two Vojvodina Croat parties, the DSHV
said the Serbian election law was "evidently designed to prevent
national minorities from entering the parliament". The association
called on the new parliament to change the election law and introduce
the principle of positive discrimination to enable national minorities
to be elected directly into parliament.
