Assembly chairman Marko Jaksic said the declaration proposed resolving
the issue of Kosovo's status through the establishment of two
entities. Under the declaration, the establishment of two entities
would provide conditions for the mass return of Serbs, freedom of
movement for Serbs, and the disappearance of ghettoes it says they are
currently in.
"Kosovo is an inalienable part of Serbia and Serbia-Montenegro," reads
the declaration, which also stresses "that after four years of
Kosovo's secession from Serbia, the time has come to put that process
to an end".
The declaration calls for the abolishment of Kosovo institutions
formed after 1999, saying they prejudge the independence of the
province.
