A proposal to that effect was made by Serbia-Montenegro Foreign
Minister Goran Svilanovic at a ministerial conference of the Euro-
Atlantic Partnership Council in Brussels.
"Because of all those who suffered and because of everything that
was destroyed in our country, because of historical truth if
nothing else, there has to be a trial that will have the final say on
the character of that aggression. The lawsuit, therefore, stands,"
Picula told national television, speaking from Brussels.
Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina have brought suits against the
Federal Republic of Yugoslavia before the Hague-based
International Court of Justice.
