THE HAGUE, Dec 16 (Hina) - In its closing statement in the Blaskic appeals hearing, the Hague war crimes tribunal's prosecution said to the Appeals Chamber the new evidence introduced by Tihomir Blaskic's defence did not corroborate
claims that the former commander of central Bosnia's operations zone did not have control over units which committed crimes, and that the defence's arguments did not question the ruling which sentenced Blaskic to 45 years in jail.
