published a book by U.S. war correspondent Robert D. Kaplan called

In his book, Kaplan has tried to shed light on contemporary
international politics, looking for answers in what he says is
unchangeable human nature. He adds that is why, as a journalist, he
acquaints people with the views of classical thinkers and
contemporary scientists, integrating them into the same story.
Kaplan was a United States war correspondent from the Near East and
the Balkans. He has also published "Balkan Ghosts".
