OSIJEK COURT OSIJEK, Dec 8 (Hina) - The trial of Nikola Ivankovic and Enes Viteskic, who are charged with murdering 19 Serb civilians in Paulin Dvor near Osijek in December 1991, resumed before the Osijek County Court on Monday with
the presentation of an expert opinion of a forensic neuropsychiatrist.
OSIJEK, Dec 8 (Hina) - The trial of Nikola Ivankovic and Enes
Viteskic, who are charged with murdering 19 Serb civilians in
Paulin Dvor near Osijek in December 1991, resumed before the Osijek
County Court on Monday with the presentation of an expert opinion of
a forensic neuropsychiatrist. #L#
Dr Nikola Mandic said that if the accused had committed the crimes
they were charged with, they had been in a state of diminished
mental capacity. He added that Ivankovic and Viteskic had in the
meantime been treated for post-traumatic stress disorder.
The trial was scheduled to continue on February 3 next year with a
report by a ballistics expert and testimony by two witnesses from
Serbia and Montenegro.
