ZAGREB, Nov 26 (Hina) - Representatives of the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) congratulated to members of the State Electoral Commission on the successful
implementation of the November 23 parliamentary election, at which Croatian voters elected 152 members to parliament.

Mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human
Rights (ODIHR) congratulated to members of the State Electoral
Commission on the successful implementation of the November 23
parliamentary election, at which Croatian voters elected 152
members to parliament. #L#
The State Electoral Commission said in a statement on Wednesday
evening that commission members earlier today held talks with
representatives of the ODIHR.
The officials agreed that the existing legal frameworks was not
favourable for the efficiency of the State Electoral Commission.
According to the statement, representatives of the OSCE and the
State Electoral Commission advocated that the commission be set up
as a permanent body.
