The EU wants the talks between Pristina and Belgrade that started in
Vienna, to resume, Solana said.
Describing his talks with the EU official as very successful,
Kosovo president Ibrahim Rugova said cooperation with neighbours
was part of the national policy of Kosovo, and expressed readiness
to closely cooperate with the temporary UN administration in
Kosovo.
Solana also met ethnic Serb representatives, who informed him about
their position on the current situation in Kosovo.
