ZAGREB, Oct 20 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Monday received a delegation of RTL Group, headed by the president and general manager of RTL Group, Gerhard Zeiler. The delegation informed Racan about their business
plans in launching a new TV station in Croatia, the government's public relations office said in a statement.

Monday received a delegation of RTL Group, headed by the president
and general manager of RTL Group, Gerhard Zeiler. The delegation
informed Racan about their business plans in launching a new TV
station in Croatia, the government's public relations office said

RTL and five Croatian companies were recently awarded a licence for
the privatisation of the third channel on the national television.
RTL news department editor-in-chief Hans Mahr and RTL d.o.o.
executive director Pavel Stantchev also attended today's meeting.
The RTL representatives acquainted Racan with their programme
scheme, stating that they intended to air domestic rather than
foreign programmes.
Experts from Germany will stay in Croatia only during the first
three years as the new TV station is established and developed,
after which the development of programmes will be left to Croatian
experts, Zeiler said.
