THE HAGUE/ZAGREB, Oct 1 (Hina) - International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) president Theodor Meron and chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte will submit annual reports to the U.N. next week, The Hague-based ICTY said
on Wednesday.

for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) president Theodor Meron and chief
prosecutor Carla Del Ponte will submit annual reports to the U.N.
next week, The Hague-based ICTY said on Wednesday. #L#
Prior to that, Meron is due to visit Washington where on Oct. 6-7 he
will meet officials of the U.S. administration. On the seventh he
will brief the U.S. Congress Helsinki Committee about the
Tribunal's work.
Meron will submit the report to the United Nations General Assembly
and Security Council in New York on Oct. 9. The day before he is due
to submit another report to the Security Council, on the setting up
of a war crimes tribunal in Bosnia-Herzegovina, together with the
international representative in Bosnia, Paddy Ashdown.
Before submitting her report to the Security Council, Del Ponte
will visit Zagreb and Belgrade to assess cooperation with the
ICTY.
