PRISTINA-BELGRADE TALKS A MATTER OF DAYS - HOLKERI

PRISTINA, Sept 20 (Hina) - The U.N.'s civil administrator in Kosovo, Harri Holkeri, said on Saturday that Pristina-Belgrade talks on technical issues were a matter of days and not weeks. Serbian representatives in Kosovo announced they would participate in the talks. #L# Talking to reporters before departing for New York to attend a Contact Group meeting next week, Holkeri said Kosovo leaders had acquainted him with their views of the dialogue with Belgrade at a meeting last night, and that he would present them to the Contact Group. The Pristina-Belgrade talks will focus on energetics, transport, refugee returns, and cooperation in the tracing of missing persons, Holkeri said, adding that he would return from New York with concrete proposals for the start and site of the talks.
