VODICE, Aug 20 (Hina) - The latest data on the number of tourists in Croatia indicates a 13 percent increase in relation to last year, while this year's overall growth in tourism will certainly exceed the planned five percent, Niko Bulic, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, said on Wednesday.
VODICE, Aug 20 (Hina) - The latest data on the number of tourists in Croatia indicates a 13 percent increase in relation to last year, while this year's overall growth in tourism will certainly exceed the planned five percent, Niko Bulic, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, said on Wednesday. #L# The latest data speak about 578,417 tourists on the Croatian coast, 514,000 being foreign citizens. Zadar County registered the highest increase in the number of tourists, 34 percent. Sibenik-Knin County follows with a 29 percent increase in relation to last year. Bulic said all goals the Board had planned had come true this year. The board had estimated the tourist growth would exceed the planned five percent and that the season would generate ten percent better financial results than last year's. (hina) lml
