The two-hour concert, conducted by Colonel Ramis, was preceded by a
short procession through the ancient part of Dubrovnik.
The Royal Guard Band of Oman consists of three bands and the first
one was established in 1973 and is the oldest military band in the
Sultanate of Oman. It has more than 200 players who perform on
different types of occasions, from royal parades to evening
ceremonies in royal palaces.
Dubrovnik city and county officials, Croatian Ambassador Ivica
Tomic, Tourism Minister Pave Zupan Ruskovic and other officials
will on Friday attend a dinner on the yacht of Sultan Quaboos bin
Said, who has been vacationing in Dubrovnik since August 9.
