"Croatia is a politically and economically stable country and wants
to help establish stability in the entire region," Racan said,
adding that Croatia's geopolitical position is such that it must
connect the region.
"We are interested in good cooperation with our neighbours," the
prime minister said according to the statement.
Racan said that economic relations and cooperation between the two
countries should be strengthened.
Vujanovic congratulated Croatia on the results it had achieved in
reforms, particularly its macroeconomic stability and the
implementation of development projects.
He said that Montenegro supported Croatia's path towards the
European Union, adding that his country would draw from Croatia's
experience on the road to European integration processes.
"Montenegro is also implementing difficult reforms, and we hope
that their positive results will be felt already this year or the
next," Vujanovic said according to the statement.
