ZAGREB, July 16 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Wendesday received representatives of the Croatian community in Montenegro and promised Croatia's assistance for their activities, especially in promoting economic
cooperation, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Tripo Schubert, president of the Croatian Civil Association of
Montenegro, Dalibor Buric, leader of the Croatian Civil
Initiative, and Silvio Markovic, president of the Croatian
Cultural Association "Napredak", informed Picula of the current
social and political situation and the position of Croats in
Montenegro.
They said they were unhappy with delays in adopting a law on the
protection of minorities in Montenegro and in conducting a
population census, the statement said.
