Five halls with a total of 440 seats and the library with modern
equipment are intended for the education of students and medical
experts.
"By opening the education centre you are investing into people,"
Racan said, adding that the project of development of 'Rebro' was
aimed at investing into equipment, which was a precondition for
making the country's health sector compatible with that in Europe.
By adopting a plan of hospital development some ten days ago, the
government has put an end to a long period of non-investment in the
medical sector, the PM said.
Apart from one billion kuna invested into the health sector in the
last two years, another seven billion kuna will be invested in
hospitals in the next seven years, he said.
