ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - The number of passengers transported by air in Croatia in the first three months of 2003 climbed by 17.6 percent to 213,000 as against the first three months of 2002.

in Croatia in the first three months of 2003 climbed by 17.6 percent
to 213,000 as against the first three months of 2002. #L#
The number of those on international flights rose by six percent to
123,000, while the number of those on domestic flights climbed by
38.5 percent to 90,000, according to the Central Bureau of
Statistics.
There was a fall of five percent in the cargo transport by air in the
first quarter of 2003, when 1,360 tonnes were transported, in
comparison to the first quarter of the last year.
