ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - A total of 351,611 tourists vacationed in Croatia in this year's first three months, 10 percent down from the same time a year ago, accounting for 890,961 overnights, a drop of 14 percent, the Central Bureau of
Statistics said on Monday.

Domestic tourists accounted for 203,388 arrivals, an increase of
six percent, and for 498,175 overnight stays, up three percent from
the first three months of 2002.
Foreign tourists accounted for 148,223 arrivals, a decrease of 26
percent, and for 392,786 overnights, down 29 percent.
The Germans accounted for the highest number of overnights -- 16.3
percent -- followed by Austrians and Italians, each accounting for
14.5 percent.
