statement.

preparations for a proposed Programme Adjustment Loan (PAL), the

The World Bank representatives briefed Simonic about their work,
which focuses on reforms of state administration and the justice
system, the improvement of the investment climate, and the building
of the human capital and stronger social protection.
The PAL will be implemented over a three-year period. Such
programmes are new World Bank financial instruments aimed at
helping structural and institutional reforms.
