The bill envisages measures regulating the protection of market
competition in case of its prevention, limiting and violation.
Under the bill, the Agency for Market Competition, managed by a
seven-member council, would be in charge of the implementation of
the law.
Welcoming the sponsor's intention, the Committee also warned that
the EU regulations on "anti-monopolist" market competition could
not always be applied to the Croatian market.
