ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - The Zagreb-based informatics company Computech and a branch of Japan's Hitachi, Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), on Tuesday signed a partnership contract whereby Computech will be the main distributor of HDS data
storage systems in Croatia.

will be the main distributor of HDS data storage systems in Croatia.

Over the past 12 months HDS has signed $2.5 million worth of
ventures with seven Croatian clients. It plans to secure 10 percent
of Croatia's data storage systems market over the next year.
HDS has a 44 percent share on the world market of disc subsystems and
is currently the world's leader in the field. It is fast expanding
in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
