Friday.

Rijeka presented its candidacy for hosting the 2009 Mediterranean
Games at the tenth annual assembly of audio-visual culture of
Mediterranean countries in Cavtat on Friday. #L#
During the Games, to last ten days, around 5,000 athletes and
500,000 visitors would stay in Rijeka. The city would build a new
stadium and swimming area, as well as a Mediterranean village.
The tenth annual assembly of audio-visual culture of Mediterranan
countries has pooled more than 300 experts in the field, from radio
to film.
