More than 300 experts in audio-visual culture, from radio to film,
are attending the three-day event.
The participants were welcomed by Croatian Culture Minister Antun
Vujic, who said among other things that new Croatian legislation
envisaged institutes ensuring a better position for the electronic
media.
Experts will discuss many topics, including television
coproduction, radio, women of the Mediterranean and culture. There
will also be workshops on television features, the exchange of
news, and cooperation among festivals. Several round-table debates
will be held as well.
