At the end of his three-day-long visit to Bosnia, Minister Vujic
confirmed that Zagreb would continue earmarking funds to Croats in
Bosnia-Herzegovina. "Of 25 million kuna of budgetary funds which
the Croatian government is to allocate (for Bosnian Croats), six
million will be used as the financial assistance in the cultural,
educational and scientific segment," Vujic told reporters after
the talks with his Bosnian hosts.
Asserting that cultural cooperation between Zagreb and Sarajevo
was being enhanced continuously, the minister announced joint
projects in relation to theatres and exhibitions.
Minister Halilovic said his country was interested in cooperation
in research projects, protection of cultural heritage and film
industry.
Earlier in the day Culture Minister Vujic opened the Croatia's
stand in an international book fair in the Bosnian capital.
Over 1,200 books published by 150 Croatian publishing houses are
put on display.
This year's event is being organised on 2,500 square metres, and the
Croatian stand has the central position.
