The new Adriavinil owners will build a yachting centre on 200,000
square metres and are obliged not to launch chemical production on
the site. Adriavinil's technological units will be transferred to
Russia, where one of the owner has mines, and the new owners are
bound to pay the full price for the factory.
Thirty-nine million kuna will be divided amongst about 270
Adriavinil workers, which will settle 90 percent of the workers'
claims.
Adriavinil was sold only after the fifth bid for tenders because
interested buyers were not ready to pay EUR15 million, as requested
during the first bid. The price was then lowered to six million, but
the company was sold to Kemokompleks and Levcevic for EUR5.32
million.
