ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Ante Simonic and the Chief of the OSCE Mission to Croatia, Peter Semneby on Friday talked about the application of the Constitutional Law on National Minorities. The two also
spoke about the coming election for the councils of national minorities or national minority representation, the Government's Public and Media Relations Office reported.

on Friday talked about the application of the Constitutional Law on
National Minorities. The two also spoke about the coming election
for the councils of national minorities or national minority
representation, the Government's Public and Media Relations Office

Semneby described the law on ethnic minorities as positive and
strategically important.
Speaking about the coming election for the councils of national
minorities and their representatives to local and regional
government bodies, the official of the OSCE (Organisation for
Security and Cooperation in Europe) stressed the importance that
these elections succeed especially because this would be the first
ballot of such kind.
Simonic called on all national minority members to be actively
involved so that these first elections be successful, the press
release said.
