Friday it would launch an investigation against this organisation.
PRISTINA, April 18 (Hina) - After the UN Civil Administrator in
Kosovo, Michael Steiner, on Thursday called the Albanian National
Army (ANA) a terrorist organisation, the UN Mission in Kosovo's
(UNMIK) police stated in Pristina on Friday it would launch an
investigation against this organisation. #L#
A web page which ANA designed and maintains is the only identifying
mark of the organisation, said UNMIK police spokesman Barry
Fletcher.
Since ANA has been declared a terrorist organisation, joining it or
acting on its behalf constitutes a crime, Fletcher said.
Since January, the police have arrested three people from the
Gnjilane region who said they were ANA members.
