Should the International Court sustain procedural objections
placed by Serbia and Montenegro, including the questionability of
the Court's jurisdiction, the dispute between Croatia and Serbia-
Montenegro could be over by next spring, Varadi said for the Novi
Sad "Gradanski list".
If the International Court overrules the objections then a trial on
the suit filed by Croatia will be held. The trial could continue for
several years unless the disputing parties come to an out of court
agreement, Varadi said. He reminded that the International Court
did not uphold Serbia and Montenegro's appeal with regard to
Bosnia's suit and now the trial will follow with regard to this
matter.
