ZAGREB, April 18 (Hina) - Croatian and French officials on Friday signed an agreement on cooperation in natural, technical, bio-medical and liberal studies, the Croatian Science and Technology Ministry said in a statement.

The agreement includes 11 new bilateral scientific-research
projects for the period 2003/2004. The two ministries have jointly
invited applications for the financing of the projects in line with
a memorandum on cooperation in implementing a bilateral programme
of integrated action (Cogito), signed by Croatia's Science and
Technology Minister Gvozden Flego and French Ambassador Francis
Bellanger last October.
