SARAJEVO TO HOST 'INTERREG' MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE ON APRIL 24

SARAJEVO, April 18 (Hina) - The foreign ministers of Adriatic countries will participate in Sarajevo on April 28 at a conference on the start of the third stage of Interreg, a regional cooperation project conceived by the European Union in the early 1990s. #L# In attendance will be the chiefs of diplomacy from Italy, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the presidents of seven Italian provinces on the Adriatic Sea. Interreg III has a fund of EUR101 million, 60 percent of which was secured by the European Commission and the rest by the Italian government and the governments of the seven aforementioned provinces. The participants in the Sarajevo conference will be informed as to how to apply for money from the fund and models of preparing adequate projects. (hina) ha sb
