The project involved more than 50 experts from four Croatian
universities - Zagreb, Split, Osijek and Rijeka, six European
universities (Vienna, Trieste, Szeged, Budapest, Pecs, Ljubljana,
San Sebastian) and seven primary schools and two kindergartens from
Croatia.
The project staff investigated communication competence in primary
school age children in multi-lingual communities where Italian and
Hungarian are spoken (Novigrad and Zmajevac), as well as in areas
with strong dialectal influence (Cakovec, Pucisca and Dubrovnik).
