ZAGREB, April 9 (Hina) - Croatian Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications Minister Roland Zuvanic, on Wednesday presented a project of constructing a passenger terminal in Zadar Harbour. The project is worth some 70 million
euros. Its construction, he said, is significant not only for Zadar and its surroundings, but for the entire central European area, as well as for the development of Croatia's economy.

Communications Minister Roland Zuvanic, on Wednesday presented a
project of constructing a passenger terminal in Zadar Harbour. The
project is worth some 70 million euros. Its construction, he said,
is significant not only for Zadar and its surroundings, but for the
entire central European area, as well as for the development of

Preparations for the construction of this international passenger
terminal could begin next spring. The first phase of construction
could end by the summer of 2005. It would directly connect with the
Zagreb-Split highway, said the minister.
Zuvanic called on international financial institutions to join the
realisation of this important project.
The presentation was attended by European Bank and World Bank
representatives.
