BELGRADE, April 18 (Hina) - Serbia's acting President and parliament speaker Natasa Micic said on Friday she expected the state of emergency in Serbia would be called off by the end of this month.

state of emergency in Serbia would be called off by the end of this

"I shall request a report from the Serbian Government and competent
ministers and, based on their opinion and suggestions, call off the
state of emergency," Micic said in parliament today.
The state of emergency was introduced after the assassination of
Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic on March 12. Current PM Zoran
Zivkovic has also announced emergency would be called off.
