ZAGREB, April 15 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic on Tuesday received Josette Durrieu, chairperson of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly's Monitoring Committee, the government said in a statement.

Granic on Tuesday received Josette Durrieu, chairperson of the
Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly's Monitoring Committee,

The two officials addressed the reforms the government was carrying
out in the judiciary, energetics, and reconstruction, as well as a
new law on Croatian Radio and Television.
Granic said those reforms remained a government priority despite
the problems that were encountered in their implementation.
Durrieu commended the process of reconstruction and refugee
returns in formerly war-struck areas, and Croatia's drawing closer
to the European Union.
Earlier today Durrieu was received by President Stjepan Mesic.
