Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic said the bill met requests by a large
number of Croatian business people who were interested in returning
to the Serbian and Montenegrin markets.
The government suggests the cancellation of customs fees for most
industrial products, while customs fees for agricultural products
would be cancelled gradually, until January 1, 2007, when they
would be completely rescinded.
The agreement's coming into force should not jeopardise the
domestic agricultural production, Jurcic said.
