NPK today organised a round-table debate in Pristina at which
participants concluded that the self-determination of the Albanian
people was lawful and guaranteed by international conventions.
NPK president Emrush Xhemaili said he handed Kosovo parliament
president Nexhat Daci a draft amendment for the Albania-Kosovo
Union and asked that the issue be put on the agenda of one of the
upcoming parliamentary sessions.
Xhemaili said the Kosovo parliament should ask Albania's
parliament to support the union.
"The Albania-Kosovo Union will influence the restoration of order
and lasting peace in Southeast Europe," NPK representatives said.
There has been no official reaction to the proposal in either Kosovo
or Albania yet.
