The Zagreb County Court has notified the justice ministry that it is not able to serve an indictment, issued by the Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal, on retired General Janko Bobetko because of his deteriorated health condition. Pursuant to the constitutional law on cooperation between Zagreb and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), an investigating judge of the Zagreb County Court informed the justice ministry that the indictment could not be served on Bobetko because of his poor and deteriorated health condition, the local court said in a statement on Friday morning. The court added that there were no legal conditions to serve Bobetko's lawyers with the indictment in case when the indictee was incapable of receiving it.
