As early as Monday (when the ruling in the Gospic Group case was
announced), the HDZ called for peace and dignity. The party will
persist in the defence of the dignity and values of the Homeland
Defence War, as those are foundations of the sovereign Republic of
Croatia, read a statement released by the secretariat of this
strongest opposition party.
